I am Dr. Sharon Jefferies and I have served as principal of B. D. Lee Elementary School for the past seventeen years. I have served a total of twenty-four years in education working with students, teachers, parents and community members in the capacity as a middle school teacher, cheerleading coach and as an elementary and middle school administrator in the Cherokee County School District. I received a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Educational Leadership and an Educational Specialist degree (Ed.S.) and Superintendent Certification from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. I have been recognized as Palmetto State Literacy Association Distinguished Literacy Administrator for the Year 2019-2020, Palmetto State Literacy Association Cherokee County Administrator for the Year 2013-2014 and 2019-2020. I received The Gaffney Ledger's Golden Peach Award for Best Principal in 2017-2018 and most recently, I received the Crystal Apple Award in September 2021, for Cherokee County School Administrators. In addition, I currently serve as an Executive Board Member for the Cherokee County First Steps.

Serving in my role as principal is definitely one of the most fulfilling and rewarding highlights of my career. Inspired2Learn has a combined total of more than 30 years of high levels of experience and proficiency in our respective subjects. We understand that each child has a unique learning style and it can be difficult to help reach them in the classroom. This is why we cater online tutoring services so that students are afforded the opportunity to have more personalized instruction in a private setting so that the tutor and student can focus on meeting their individual needs.

Why Online Tutoring

Students Gain Academic Confidence by learning at their own pace, learning in the comfort of their own homes and engagement with use of technology devices.

With online tutoring students will have the opportunity to receive explicit teaching instruction that's motivating and fun, increase their self-esteem, feel comfortable asking questions in individual or small settings and ignite a passion for learning.

Parents may select the best learning style for their child. Parents may schedule one-on-one instruction or small group/peer instruction (Two-four students on the same instructional level work together on lessons with the teacher).

Online tutoring will help students experience success at their level of instruction. Personalized instruction will craft individual pathways to meet the curriculum needs of each individual student.

Inspired Growth and Learning Center is a tutoring intervention support in addition to the classroom for 4K to secondary level students. Some students need additional one-on-one assistance or small group instruction. Our curriculum and educational sessions completely revolve around the abilities and experiences of each student. We identify and target the gaps in learning to ensure academic success in reading and math.

We take a comprehensive and collaborative approach in creating a plan and program that is right for every student. Adjusting to different personalities and specific academic needs, we always find what works best.

We tailor our Online Tutoring to fit each of our students’ unique needs and circumstances. With our professional tutors and your dedication for your child to succeed, we guarantee academic success.

Face-to-Face and Virtual Online Tutoring Services Offered

Face-to-Face or Virtual Online Tutoring Service Fees: $50.00 a hour (one to two days a week sessions are recommended.

Face-to-Face Afterschool Enrichment/Tutoring Hours:

Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:oo p.m.- 6:oo p.m. or

6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Saturday 11:00a.m. until 12:00 noon.

Tutoring Location: 403 S. Logan Street Gaffney, SC 29341.

Virtual Tutoring Hours incase of inclement weather or by appointments only.

Career Building Services Offered

Career Building Services are $50.00 for each 1 hour session:

2. Consultation and Completion of filing FAFSA forms for college.

3. Consultation Preparation on how to Interview successfully for employment.

4. Consultation, Preparation and Creation of Employment Resumes.
